Snuggles

Snuggles is the lair's rather eccentric mad scientist!

He devotes his life to his far-reaching and ever-expanding quest for SCIENCE! and has little time for anything else.

Luckily for him, he is well-loved by the inhabitants of the lair, who make certain that he has plenty of food, takes breaks, and keeps hydrated while doing his experiments at all hours at night.

He's quite close with Dharithri, finding the bookish Mirror to be a very effective lab assistant, and Devmani is always up for debating the merits of science versus magic with him. The hatchlings of the lair are always eager to go and fetch him whatever ingredients he may need, and he makes sure to give them treats in exchange for what they bring him.

At one point he left the lair for a short while, on an expedition to another clan to learn more about their SCIENCE! and, in the process, met a very lovely lady Snapper, and hatched a nest of two with her. Everyone at the lair was rather surprised when Snuggles returned with a son, whose name is Graeghamm, but they welcomed him well enough. On late nights when he can be pulled away from his research, Snuggles will often wax poetic about his 'lost love', and mention how intelligent she was, and with such a love for knowledge!

He was quite close to Luloah while she lived, and her death (due to illness) grieved him greatly. They had a nest of two with each other as well, but both hatchlings were called to a greater cause. AmethystEater comforted him then, and they have built a friendly rapport between themselves since.

When Quetzal was called to the eternal battle, Snuggles was the first to seek AmethystEater out, and, true to his name, snuggled her while she let out all her pain and sorrow. They've become very close due to this.

He is currently invisible due to a slight miscalculation of an especially volatile experiment, but he hasn't let this get him down. Even if he can't fix it, he finds his life little changed from what it was before his accident.
