Devora keeps to herself mostly, only leaving her den for supplies and evening meals. She has always been this quiet since her parents left her the clan. Her parentds had been outsiders, and only shortly came together, then fell apart and went their separate ways, leaving a single egg unhatched.

Growing up, Devora was not talented in battle as many of her guardian brothers and sisters were. She was instead more interested in the arcane, though she had no natural gift. She would study countless hours, bent over books and scrolls, trying and failing many times to conjure spells and cook up even the simplest of potions. None of the older mages would take her as their apprentice, none other than the little Fae Shale, a long retired Mage. She showed Devora her books and opened her eyes to new things, and new ways to get in touch with one's arcane influences, for all dragons have them, but not all can easily access them.

Devora continues to struggle with her magic, and remains apart from the other magic users of the clan. She takes comfort in the quiet peace of her own home and enjoys the company of her feline friend Jasper who was in fact her very first successful spell. He now has the ability to speak due to a spell of awakening she cast on him under Shale's close supervision. The little cat has a confident personality, but will very seldom speak to other dragons and often speaks in riddles rather than plain draconic.
