..... Noone’s entirely sure where Ivanka came from, but despite this, she was loved and doted on by even the coldest within the Clan. With a natural aptitude towards most intellectual pursuits, she proved interesting to even the hierarchy, thus sealing her stay.

That is, until they realized exactly how problematic an infant is within a busy religious space, particularly one as small as the Daybreak Monastery.

While most children adapted naturally to the rules, Ivanka finds them inappropriate. Thus, it’s not uncommon to find her running in the halls, tripping over herself as she struggles to outrun those trying to pry away whatever it is she’s got in her claws, whether it be valued materials she intends to stick in her mouth or Moscato’s paint brushes, or to enact discipline for loosening the hatch on the bestiary for the animals to escape. Nor is it unusual to find paint scribbles over valued manuscripts, taken from their casings to fuel the child’s desire for disorder, or missing blankets from the infirmary, only to find the youth across the yard bundled asleep in an obscure corner of the monastery.

Morello pitied the child, and thus, with the hierarchy, made the decision to have her brought to the clan of her lover, Clan Krankenkatzen. While also a good idea at the time, this, too, was met with disappointment, as the new Clan also grew tired of her antics. This led into her adoption by Silmera alongside the other youth of the Clan, only for the two to eventually become partners in crime and lead to further mischief; far too much for a lone mother to handle. Thus, Clan Krankenkatzen and the monastery do rotations between the youths, in order to offer one another occasional periods of reprieve.
