Biography
Formerly named Renato, self-dubbed Kiandali is a skittish dragon with a difficult, mysterious past. However, her gentleness and eagerness to help out have earned her many friends among her new clan, where she's likely to stay for a very long time indeed.
ClanEnyo wrote:
Thunder shook the ground beneath Renato as she ran for cover. Images flashed through her mind with each bright flash of light, and in spite of herself tears soaked her cheeks along with rainwater that begun to pour. It was impossible to distinguish any sound from the storm, but she was sure she felt eyes on her from all sides, peering out from the thorny bramble that clawed at her flesh. Several times she even let out a weak scream as a stray root wrapped around her body, mistaking it for a living creature trying to bring her down. It was maddening. Something in the air was so thick with chaos that she was afraid that the Shade itself was following her with the intent of devouring her.
BAM!
Another shot of lighting struck, nearly blinding the imperial as it shattered the ground mere feet from her. Instinctively, she crouched down, tail tucked around her and head half under herself, paralyzed with terror.
"Hey now!" an oddly boisterous voice called out. Renato lifted her head, blinking away the white blindness around the edges of her sight, trying to locate the source of the voice. Slowly, the outline of a skydancer came into view. The tip of her wings glowed as if they were part of the raging storm above, and she wore goggles and a jacket that suited an aviator. Even the sprite that tittered around the woman was made of lightning.
"Did I scare ya? I'm really sorry about that. Didn't mean to land so close. Hey... are you okay? You're all bloody and disheveled."
Shona meant this as a joking concern, but when the imperial didn't respond a frown spread across her beak-like face. She could tell that there was something dangerous about the situation, and that the pink blur she'd landed to see was clearly running from something. Well then, there was only one choice.
"Come on, I'll get you out of here."
The skydancer extended a gloved arm, and the imperial graciously took it.
"T-Thank you..."
