The afternoon sun shone through the crevice near the front of the dragon's lair. Despite the sliver of light streaming from above, Rashid stumbles through the narrow entrance and trips over the litter of items which had been strewn about. A broken bottle lay among the items. His clumsiness was beginning to irritate him. A small line of fire ants march around the debris. A twilight jewel moth sits precariously on the broken bottle. "I know they are here somewhere," he half mutters to his assistant, looking around for an additional light. He grabs a handful of glow mushrooms which are growing alongside the wall and holds them up to see more clearly. Admittedly, glowshrooms distort rather than clarify, but that’s beside the point. Continuing to diligently search the cave, he turns back toward the entrance to the lair. “Where are those trinkets I saved for my next trip?" Slowly a reef snail moves around him leaving a trail of slippery slime, it’s tentacles pointing to a hewn out shelf. Rashid follows the line of sight. He gasped in relief. “I am more organized than I give myself credit for,” he laughs, reaching out to stroke the snail on the head with his long, flowing whiskers. He pulls the satchel of items down and counts the pink electric feathers nestled inside. "That’s a good start, but more items will be needed if I am to prepare a proper gift for my victims,” he states with determination. He put the sachel back on the shelf hoping he will remember he put it there tomorrow. As he does, the sight of his butterflies catch his eye. They come to him and light upon his head and wings. His joy becomes evident immediately. |

Born in Arcane to settlers originally from the Wind flight, Rashid, was meant to carry on the family tradition of traveling through Sorneith. His handsome appearance attracted attention wherever his wings carried him. In fact, it was this very trait that gave him the edge over so many dragons who were sitting idly in the farm for future fodder, better known as the Auction House, where they were waiting for their lucky number to be called. Rashid caught the eye of Origamigamer's clan. It is no mystery, then, that he came to be the go-to Meteorbomber for the clan. He was fond of dressing up and choosing many of the trinkets he collected to share with other members of Sorneith. The travel was a welcome break from the hard-work he performed for the clan. His only regret during these extended trips was that he would have to leave his creatures behind, for he had an amazing collection of insects. They commonly fluttered and crawled around the lair with diligent energy, but moped while Rashid was away. In return, his emotional attachment to them grew stronger with every adventure. Among these precious creatures was his pet slug which he rescued during a heated battle in the Forgotten Cave. The Crimson Reef Snail became his assistant in preparing the bundles of bombing materials. This was quite a task considering that the snail had no hands. Skillfully, this talented creature learned to use his tentacles to efficiently put all Rashid's messes in order. Although Rashid does not possess typical Arcane colors, he has a beautiful glitter belly. All who know him agree that he is a fascinating and worthy representative of the Arcane flight. He is quite proud of his colors and markings and believes that it is the glitter that attracts his miniature friends. The Arcanist himself would say it is magic! Bio by Starlight18 |
