ORIGINS

______Born into a Clan that dealt strongly with magic and superstition, she was considered a bad omen because of the glowing markings decorating her sides and so was shunned by her Clan. Though her birth Clan knew many branches of magic she was excluded from this knowledge in fear that she would use it to bring misfortune upon them. It is because of this fear and seclusion from knowledge that she was also secluded from her peers and any friends she could have made and so was treated as an outcast from the time she had hatched to the time she was cast out of the Clan to find her own way.

______Having grown up secluded from most everything outside her Clan she quickly found that the rest of Sornieth was just as unwelcoming, though it seemed to be in different ways. She had no talents to speak of that would help her find a way to make sure she was fed and little ways to learn as she had only a basic grasp of the Common tongue. After a time she was forced to beg and hunger had even driven her to theft on a few notable occasions.

______It was the last of those few thefts that helped put her life on a better path however. The dragon she had attempted to steal food from had been an old Fae strongly versed in magic and was able to subdue her easily. When he saw her sorry state he brought her to his den high in the boughs of an ancient grove of trees outside of the city and gave her food and water. They sat and talked until the stars lit the sky and upon noticing their light he offered her a nest for the night. That single night stretched into countless more and after some years she became his apprentice and he set to teaching her all he had learned. Having been denied knowledge when she was younger this den in the ancient trees, strung together with amber and filled with knowledge freely given, seemed a paradise.
