In the beginning, Sugrate had grandiose ideas of starting his own clan, building from the ground up a wellspring of modern technology and a bolstering ingenuity. His ideas.. didn't exactly pan out as he thought they would. Inexperience coupled with his hasty, poorly-thought plans crumbled his ambitions into dust.
He got his facility, albeit one held together through duct tape and prayers. Even he doesn't exactly know how it works, despite having built most of its foundations himself. Every new week is a struggle to keep things in working order. Cortraine stays in a relatively stable equilibrium currently, but eventually something important is going to give.
The architecture is failing, and it can only survive so many patch jobs.
Sugrate was born a Fae. His movements as a Ridgeback are clumsy, and his face doesn't quite know what to do with itself anymore. The creeping stress of Sugrate's job combined with his fear of the residents discovering how incompetent he truly is has only amplified his preexisting skittish anxieties.
Now? He hides his more unsavory stopgaps and focuses his attention on just keeping Cortraine afloat.
