Incredibly fierce, Red stole the heart of Aquata when they were both mere hatchlings. A much larger wildclaw was trying to take a piece of Aquata when Red intervened, attacking the wildclaw with all his might. It was enough to get Aquata to safety, and they never left each other's side after that. His most prized possession is a Ruby pendant Aquata gave to him when they were very young.

A proud clan patriarch, Red defends his clan with the same energy he did as a hatchling, though now he prefers to sneak up on his prey.
Aquata and Red tend to adopt or rescue lost dragons rather than have hatchlings of their own, but occasionally they get some time to themselves when the clan isn't getting themselves into trouble.

Unappy with his strange color, Red saught out a dragon who could help him, a magical scholar.
It was not as simple as Red thought; the dragon did warn him, but Red was unhappy and would not be taught.
Starting at Red Platinum Maize, his color shifted quite well a ways. He became Purple Orange Ebony first, and stormed back to the dragon "This is the worst!"
So the spell was cast again... Red became Carrot Muave Pumpkin, and sighed forlornly as he trudged back up the mountain.
The dragon looked at him, stifling a laugh, and offered Red one final cast. One final time the spell was said, Flint Beige Sky quite became Red. Finally happy he returned to his lair, colors with Aquata he doth now share.
