Earthentongue

Some may tell of the mighty father of the Sacredstone clan. Of his bravery, of his power, of his history. But stories must travel far in the Shattered Plain, and few quite capture the true spirit of Fahrar Earthentongue.

Though strong, vital, and mysterious to outsiders, Earthentongue is a jolly, gentle pacifist. His home is but simply a chamber of modest size in the middle of the cool, dark caverns the clan calls home. His reign is not that of a king, but more akin to a loving and unconditional fathership. He is most often seen surrounded by the clan's hatchings and new families or tending to the nests during long, restless nights.

The clan was not begun by choice- in fact, the Fahrar was a solitary wanderer. Hatched in the wastes among the scrub brush and dust, raised by the wind and scorching son, he felt distant to a concept he longed for- family. He fought to protect himself, and learned the ways of the sand as he grew closer to the Earthshaker. Perhaps it was his blessing that he found, through crumbling earth, a never touched, ever sprawling cave- and, perhaps all the same that he found a small, blind, freshly emerged hatchling.

And thus began a legacy- a legacy and an ideal.

Like stone, a family is solid- like sand it ever changes- like gold it must be protected.
