Silex is a vicious banescale, armored by the bleached bones of their prey that click and clack as they pace the bough of the airship. They were created from the static of a volcanic plume, carried by air currents from the Ashfall Waste to the Shifting Expanse, resulting in a dragon that was made instead of born. They wandered the desert and learned to fight anything that moved. Such was the way of the Expanse. Soon Silex became a formidable killer, scavenging and dive-bombing in the canyons. Unlearning those hard lessons has been an uphill climb. Silex is still aggressive and hypervigilant, but they lead their crew with an infectious energy, and they make sure every dragon who has chosen Silex over the Wastes reaps the benefits of their choice. They even found faith in the Stormcatcher. While it's tough to be an armless lightning dragon, their keen eye for martial strategy and ability to rally their crew shows the same relentless productivity of any dragon born in the Shifting Expanse. They have a keen interest in finding other "first generation" dragons - a little too keen.

I will admit, I had no idea moon arrow looked like that, and it matches the paler parts of Silex's savannah gene near-perfectly! At first glance, their cream skeletal gene seems odd, but after reading their lore, it's seems an excellent touch (being the bones of slain prey). Speaking of their bio, the art included at the end of their page is stunning!
