" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ FR HISTORY Nathaniel had a simple thought when he started out his own clan-- To be with his wife, Angela. His brother-in-law, Ceallach, tagged along, but Nathaniel didn’t mind. At one point, he did harbor somewhat romantic feelings for the Pearlcatcher, but he paid it no heed—how can a clan start with two male dragons? With just the three of them they lived off in a peaceful lair, they didn’t have much to their names, but it was a start. That is when the scarcity of food started rolling in. Gathering wasn’t enough and they couldn’t buy anything with the money they have. It unfortunately led to one conclusion: Angela and Nathaniel had to give up their newly hatched children to the Tidelord for money to spare. It was hard for them, but they lived on. Nathaniel didn’t want to give Angela the burden of giving up their children anymore, and so he searched for new females to breed, for both him and Ceallach to give to the Tidelord. He made sure that their arrangements were strictly professional, and so it came to be. After a while, the clan was thriving again, with children for both the clan and the Tidelord. Then tragedy struck as Angela passed. She took too many beatings in the Coliseum, and thus it ended her life. After that Nathaniel changed drastically. His mating with the other females became more… harsh. And strictly professional. Nathaniel started adopting to avoid growing attach to the children in case they need more money again, now living the life he has today. Thriving… But at what cost? OC HISTORY Nathaniel started out as your typical rich boy—spoiled, clean and well restricted by his parents. He had a few friends here and there, but the most notable ones were Angela and Ceallach McAlistair, twins and fellow rich children swimming around the same circle. The notable thing about them, however, is that Angela is betrothed to Nathaniel himself. He refused at first, but then slowly fell in love with her over time, even after they wed. As they were is great ties with the government, his father-in-law showed him the power of what lies under the basement of their companies—transhumanism. He showed Nathaniel how it worked, how they slaved their work hours through the near perfection of one sole project so far—a superhuman suit, still a work in progress, but it did progress. It did however, had a slight snag: It can only fully function through the first human it contacted, and that human was Angela, who is the Head of Intelligence for the research. It can still function, but if it was any other person non-related to Angela, the minute they’re in the suit their bodies will be drained instantly, almost near death. Angela’s father can wear it with no problem, but it will not have all of its functions working. Years have passed and the research has been growing steadily, as well as his family. That is until there was an incident in the company. Terrorists came and attacked the family. The children were confused as to what’s happening, but Nathaniel knew what the terrorists were after: The supersuit and their research. Things went grim as Angela saved one of their kids from a gunshot, unfortunately getting hit by the head, causing her life to end. After that, the research has stopped, for the supersuit doesn’t have anyone to connect to. Nathaniel never gave up however, and after years of tweaking the somewhat “connection,” Nathaniel created a compromise—the supersuit can now connect to Angela’s bloodline, the female bloodline in particular. And with that, Nathaniel started working the research on their daughter. Unfortunately it…. Changed the daughter, and not for the better. She mentally couldn’t stand anything transhumanism, couldn’t bear to look at it, and one day, run off. Now the race is one for Nathaniel to capture his daughter so the project will continue, or else the government will pull the plug of it forever.  |
