Eula Cook || Coli team Member Elua joined Kai and was given her name because of her quiet nature, the name Elua was explained to her to be Greek meaning ‘Sweetly-Spoken.’ Kai wanted to protect Elua’s quiet nature, having first mistaken her quietness for shyness. After Kai’s first day with her, they found that this was not the case. Elua; like Kai, had to fend for herself until Adulthood and had to fight for the right to live and eat. Because of this she had closed herself off to most other dragons she came across, to afraid of being shunned or hurt again. Elua is a very calm personality and helps to co-lead the slowly growing Clan. When it was just her and Kai, they knew that they wanted to take care of many others, but maybe not their own hatchlings; a place for the forgotten or the traveling, that’s what they wanted. Elua quickly took on the roll of preparing food for helself, not liking to eat food completely raw. Her favourite dish to make consisted of fried beetles covered in honey and often chose to ‘cook’ a little side salad for when Kai was hungry as well. Though she enjoyed cooking she wasn’t going to be cooking for everyone and as soon as the clan grew too big, she would stop. Elua was more than comfortable with the slowly growing clan, happy meeting each of the members and running the place by Kai's side, however they never chose to enter a relationship together. Because of this, Elua never had her own children and was comfortable to look after the hatchlings that joined the clan until she met Carell who took over as the in house chef and winning Elua's heart with her food. With both these beautiful ladies in love, they chose that they would be mothers to all the children born or bought into the clan. |

Scene 1 - Humanoid
Elua stood atop the mountain and looked out. She had struggled for weeks, clambering and clawing at the unforgiving rock face until she reached the summit only to look out at the grey expanse of earth beyond.
This wasn’t where she was meant to be, could feel it under her skin that crawled with every rumble of thunder and the way her eyes darted with details not being quite sharp enough. There was no food here like she had hoped, climbing so high to be away from the surrounding predators she had clung to that silver thread of hope that at least something could survive the ashen wastelands around her. No. Nothing lived here, nothing grew, that was obvious now.
Elua could feel the scream build in the back of her throat, too tight, too dry to let out more than a choked sob. She felt so weak and tired that she doubted that she would make the climb back down the mountains edge even had she wanted to.
As she continued to stare out into the distance, she felt the ice-cold drop of rain hit her face and felt a small semblance of comfort in its embrace. She knew what she would have to do to be free. She took a step forwards, cold rock under her feet biting and becoming increasingly slippery as she stepped. It didn’t matter anymore as she began to pick up speed. Quicker, faster. She had to be faster. She pushed herself until it felt like her lungs would burst.
Elua jumped.
The ground disappears from beneath her feet. Felt weightless as the air took her. And, for the first time in her life she felt free.
