HISTORY
Selvans was born the eldest to a family of Nature shamans deep in the Worldedge Wetlands. Theirs was one of many secretive clans that resided in the Viridian Labyrinth. As heir to the family, he was tasked with caring for the magical mangrove forest dominating their slice of the wetlands. For a time growing up he carried out his tasks with quiet contentment, aided by his brothers and sisters.

Although content in his duties as heir, Selvans also discovered another love--that of battle. The seemingly softspoken dragon would venture deep into the Shrieking Wilds and return, loaded with the spoils of his hunts. Although bloodlust did not enter his mind, his longing to become stronger was met with some discouragement--after all, he was supposed to be devoted to their forests and nothing else.

Selvans would have been resigned to his fate had he not encountered a weakened dragon tangled among the roots and brackish waters of his mangrove--a young guardian named Moryana who, in seeking out her charge, had fallen ill and accidentally washed up in the wetlands. She was graciously welcomed into the clan, to some disapproval from Selvans' elders about outsiders.

It was perhaps no great surprise, then, when Selvans relinquished his position as heir and chose to leave the Viridian Labyrinth to accompany Moryana and eke out a new life of his own. They have been together ever since.

When the pair had arrived to Clan Cloud Brush, Selvans gladly took up the offer as a warrior and defender, using his knowledge of molding trees and plants in creating and strengthening the clan's structures. And yes, he gets to enjoy the occasional monster hunt while he's at it.
