Biography
By HerdOfTurtles
the smooth cave walls dripped with water. Shadows creeping on the walls as the unconscious dragon lay on a stone slab. Vincent slipped on some thick rubber gloves before getting to work. he examined the dragon’s wound. it seemed to be a spear wound, embedded deep into the dragon’s chest. Vincent slowly slipped the spear out, wet with blood, then quickly pressed a white cloth to the wound.
his eyes glared to the back of the cave, the deepest and most important part of the cave. the most valuable because it harbored his treasured chemicals and experimental tools. he quickly trotted to his treasures, careful to slip on new gloves before holding up a green liquid level to his head. Vincent was careful to spare no time as he quickly picked up a small needle, wiping of the tip from the previous user. he filled the needle with the toxin to the brim… without a worry. then, he slipped it into the wound of his patients.
the patient moaned, then lay back dead. Vincent snorted at the body. what Vincent wanted to do was impossible. he quickly pushed the dead dragon off the stone slate and dragged it to a dark hole. a cavern that leads to an underground pool. the water kept it from stinking, and Vincent had forgotten how many bodies and souls it harbored. he walked out of his experimenting tunnel and into a different cavern.
the cavern was decorated with cages… Familiars, hatchlings, and dragons… all hissing and spitting insults at the ‘Doctor.’ Vincent stopped in front of another dragon, who was much younger than him. the Mirror cradled himself in the back of the cave, hissing. Quickly, Vincent injected the Mirror with a blue serum, nocking it out. Vincent was a large enough dragon to pick up the mirror and sling it onto his stone table again.
perform, edit, repeat. Vincent repeated the same steps in order to succeed. he must succeed. Vincent took a vile of shade and attached it to the dragon, then injected the dragon. the mirror woke up, struggling in it’s tight nots to keep it from attacking. Shade made the dragon stronger and more aggressive… but also would kill the dragon eventually
Vincent let the dragon struggle for an hour, before it began to calm down. the dragon wasn’t dead. the dragon had survived an extra thirty minutes. Vincent excitedly took the injection. it could keep him alive longer. Vincent couldn’t remember what he was like before, but he knew that the last Real patient he worked on was a shade infected dragon, and half way through, the shade passed on to him. he had to figure out how to survive, and get rid of it.
