Ambrosia
As sweet as honey
A kind and gentle dragon, Ambrosia was well-loved and cared for by her old clan. There she took care of hatchlings while their parents were busy hunting and in her free time used her dextrous claws to make jewelry and apparel.

In her adulthood however she felt a growing longing to see the world outside of the Light Flight, to see with her own eyes the wonders painted on their scrolls. So she took to traveling, staying for a while with an Ice clan and then roaming Wind’s millmeadows. She loved the joy of the Wind flight, nearly calling it home herself, but there was something so enchanting about their mysterious neighbor. The Sea of a Thousand Currents called to her as it had many others, and though the rumors of ancient beasts swimming through the depths frightened her, she just couldn’t let that call go unanswered, not when she had already traveled so far and seen so much.

Flying over the inland sea was breathtaking, the mists flying up to cool her wings and the enticing smells of sea life urging her to explore. She saw clans built onto beaches and cliffs and faint hints of life below the surface, flashes of bioluminescence and Guardian fins piercing the waves. There were grand ships traveling between ports and the occasional smaller, more agile pirate ships waiting to waylay them like predators hiding in brush.

She was within a day’s flight of Light’s shores, thinking about perhaps giving her old clan a visit, when she saw a large island that caught her attention. Buildings of white marble glittered in the sun, adorned with sea shells and climbing moss. On the opposite side of the island from the largest buildings was a bustling port, ships of all sizes coming and going with wares. She had found Clan Zinapluvia, and she didn’t know it then but she was finally home.

Here in our clan she’s rediscovered her love of hatchlings, taking over the Portside Nursery since Cicuta announced her retirement. She watches over the young ones while making jewelry from shells and sea glass, and tells them stories of her travels. She’s found her mate in quiet Giovanelli, who’s given up his days as a warrior to work on the docks and often dives to the sea bed to gather the treasures she makes into jewelry. She still may not be entirely sure what it was she was searching for when she left her home clan, but she knows she’s found it.
