When you first meet Cloudburst, it's because something has gone horribly wrong. Maybe something big and important isn't working, or you've shattered a sentimental object, to where it seems like it's beyond repair. You don't have to give her the details- just show her what's broken. She will get to work without a word, typically getting back to you within a few days, two weeks at most for a big fix. She doesn't need your thanks, either... just the look on your face, plus a little payment, is good enough.

With her silence and impressive talent, she can be quite intimidating. Once you get to know her though, it becomes clear that she simply doesn't speak unless she feels like she has something of value to say. Things of value include: How to prevent your items from breaking again, any help she will need for her job, and good puns. Everything that really matters. She holds her position in high esteem, but she has a well-developed fun side that tends to express in subtle, but surprising ways.

Cloudburst and Orichalcum are coworkers, but also best friends. Even outside of their important jobs as clan mechanics (fixing water wheels and windmills, machinery, some magic devices) they're often seen playing board games, drawing, and reading books together. Cloudburst has also found herself in an on-again off-again relationship with Mylar, more because of Mylar's issues than her own.

Familiar: Snugbug. A beautiful magic carpet woven and enchanted by a thankful client. It goes everywhere with Cloudburst, carrying supplies, acting as a step stool when she needs a little extra height, draping over her at night like a blanket.
