______ One of the Eleven Elemental Imperials residing in Umbral Rex. Altenwald is firmly loyal to the GladeKeeper, while also displaying some faith in the ShadowBinder. He's not the most social of dragons, but will still humor others if they come to him in search of conversation. He himself will rarely initiate a conversation with another. He made his den in the expansive gardens that Lupa the Nocturne had started long before his arrival. Since moving into the gardens, Altenwald can often be found adding new plants and tending to the garden as a whole.

______ Even though he feels at home in the Tangled Wood, Altenwald will on occasion visit the Viridian Labyrinth he had been born in. His visits are usually brief, the longer trips often being escort trips to keep the Nature Ambassador, Ivaros, safe. It was during one such trip he unknowingly flirted with his uncle, Direeye. Uniting with his uncle in such an embarrassing manner was a huge blow to his pride, and he is now reluctant to flirt with other dragons in case they too are relatives. In fact, Ivaros is a distant relative, and doesn't let Altenwald forget.
