Tacey was different from her siblings who she had shared a nest with, By the time all her siblings had learned to speak she still had not said a word which caused her mother to start to worry about her. She often got left out of games and other activities that her siblings had taken part in since her not speaking made it rather hard for her siblings to understand her. Her mother Danica had become quite concerned about her and spoke to her father Sodi who was also the oracle of the clan, Sodi shook his head and calmly said. "Thee who doesn't wish to speak doesn't have a voice."

Danica wasn't quite sure what Sodi had meant but she had just assumed her daughter Tacey was mute, Once Tacey had grown up she spent most her time in the archives along with her mother. Tacey had no will to become a archivist however there wasn't really any ranks she was able to work towards since no one in the clan wanted to mentor a dragon who they could not speak to. Tacey continued to help her mother in the archives for a while before deciding on her own that this wasn't the fate she had wanted.

One night while everyone in the lair was asleep Tacey left the clan that she was born in, She did not feel bad at all about leaving any of her siblings behind nor her parents since she never felt attached to them. She never looked back once towards the place she was born, She feet just kept on walking tell she came across many places she had never been to before. Most dragons she came across on her journey would give her strange looks when she would not reply to them, She would do her best to try to explain things to them though actions.

All the dragons she had come across where left confused by her actions and none of them had understood what she had meant, Because of this she never could stay in another lair for a night and was stuck doing everything on her own. Truth is she had started to feel quite lonely since it had been sometime since she had left her birthplace and no other dragons she had met had understood her. She wanted a place she felt welcome at by all the dragons of the clan, Yet a place that would not tie her down since she enjoyed the freedom to travel.

This was something that was hard for her to find however she kept searching tell she found the perfect place to call home, Dragons who welcomed her and at least one dragon who could understand her.
