Biography
Kujaku walks in a self-assured manner, everything he does is carefully crafted, thought out to the very last detail. Other dragons talk, “He is not of the ancestral land,” they say, “He cannot forget his past in the shadows.” But none dare to cross him. He leads the clan with cunning and charisma, and a strict adhesion to his principles.
Despite the worries of the dragons, Kujaku was chosen by Kaminzei herself, matriarch of the clan. Though she sleeps for days on end and her age wears her, she chose Kujaku to lead with clarity of mind. His being from the Shadow flight is part of what makes him a good leader, balanced with his lifelong mate, Noctia of the Light flight. Some dragons will always remain wary of outsiders, untrusting, especially of those from the Shadow flight. However, Kujaku fought hard to earn the respect of the clan, and most members would die before seeing his leadership position revoked from him. Kujaku has cultivated loyalty and established strong principles of honor, open-mindedness, and the perseverance of learning above all else. He is well-loved, and despite his cold demeanor, is a deeply empathetic leader.
