As a young hatchling, Bucky and Cap were as close as two young dragons can get. They looked out for one another- particularly Bucky watching out for the remarkably small Guardian- and spent as much time together as possible. When Cap's growth spurt happened, the two worked together and trained together and mused on all the good they intended to do for the world together.

The two were separated, though, and Cap was led to believe that Bucky had passed on. In reality, he'd been very, very badly injured and didn't remember much (if anything) of his life before the injury. Taken in by a dark clan, Bucky was trained up to be vicious and powerful, using that power to the advantage of the clan and only the clan, caring nothing for anyone else.

One day, though, the clan found itself in a disagreement with some members of the FaerieIshee clan, and coming face to face with Cap, he began to remember the dragon he'd once been friends with, the dragon he'd once been.

transparentBar%20wide_zps15odqfaj.png Cap encouraged it, helping Bucky get away from the clan who had taken him in, and welcome him to the FaerieIshee clan and the small group they'd made within it for themselves. The others, while a bit apprehensive of this dark and mangled dragon, soon learned that Bucky wasn't quite the monster he'd been made to pretend he was. Instead, they discovered a wickedly loyal dragon with a kind heart and a sense of humor a mile wide. Stark was quite happy to make him fancy new prosthetics for the arm Bucky was missing, similar to the ones he'd made for Lir's legs.

Bucky still works to remember things that haven't quite come back to him, and still works to make up for all the hateful actions he once did, but he's beginning to think he can learn what it is to be happy and whole again.
