Description
It's said that the Scholar grew up with a family so focused on their studies and crafts that, from the moment she hatched, she was left with only her brother and her parents' books. In fact, her parents only showed up occasionally to provide them with the necessities, and the two were well kept, but as she grew bored and her nameless brother grew mad, she picked up her first book, and began to read. She would drown herself in books, from the moment she would wake up in the morning until she couldn't keep herself up any longer. She would spend every waking moment reading, being somewhere great or doing something incredible, and she would learn about what may have happened before dragons like her were around, or even just finding out why she was pink and white, not the duller colors some of her clanmates sported. Until one day, she had read every single book. No matter where she looked, there were no more to be found. At that point, she made a decision- she would go and seek out other places, find out about their lives and read their books, and discover the world for herself. Travelling, learning, reading other dragons' books and finding out their tales... Casting one last glance at her brother, who only stared back, she opened the window,. A midnight breeze ruffled her feathers, and she flew. She would find her own story. |

The Scholar travels, delivering news and messages from place to place. She's very up-to-date about current events, usually due to loud dragons gossiping in libraries. As much as she wants to ignore them, it's sort of difficult. Because of this, however, she does relay information back and forth and keeps Dawnveil up-to-date with Arcane clans and happenings when it's important or convenient. Though her potential for magic is very good, she isn't skilled at using it and will flee at the first sight of danger. Because of this she doesn't travel away from commonly used paths and roads, so she has a route she follows everywhere. It's fairly easy to locate her due to this. When she's in town, she spends most of her time either reading at Ryze's library or talking to him. The two seem to get along well, and the Scholar often takes great interest in his research. It's believed that she's assisting him with gathering data from other clans as well as spreading any relevant information he is willing to share. |

Notes
-She absolutely reads those messages she delivers back and forth unless they're sealed in a way where it would be obvious if she read them. She's good at removing wax seals and putting them back on, though.
-She thinks about her brother sometimes, and is somewhat curious as to his whereabouts. She sorta regrets ignoring him for all of that time just to ditch him.

Original description:
Born to an academically-minded clan, her parents were so engrossed in their respective studies and crafts that they didn't even bother to name her. Though her brother was resentful of this lack of attention, she was perceptive and knew that the adults around her were preoccupied - several dragons from a mysterious secret society had just arrived right before they hatched, and the clan's dragons were busy trying to locate lairs and texts for the newcomers. Besides, the less attention the adults paid to her, the more time she could spend reading. There was no better way to escape the tumultuous world around her than losing herself in the pages of a book, imagining she was somewhere else, someone else.
