B I O G R A P H Y
Juniper is a calm dragon who is kind to everyone. However, she is the most passionate in the clan about anything related to nature, and if she sees anything nature-related being purposefully harmed in any way she will drop her calm demeanor and unleash her hidden wrath. She despises doing this, however, because when she gets upset thorny vines sprout and whip around at anyone nearby. Of course after she calms down again, she uses her magic to repair the damaged plant and to grow many more of that plant, plus lots of flowers to beautify the landscape.
Even though most dragons lived in large homes or small huts, Juniper preferred to live in a treehouse in a large tree just outside the town of Shiaria. Around the base of the tree and spreading out away from Shiaria she has cultivated a large garden where she grows plants for all the herbivore dragons in the clan (to supplement what the foragers find themselves), as well as medicinal herbs that Ayana uses in her potions.
Juniper is the clan's main gardener, and since she plays a large role in making sure the plant-eaters are fed she works very hard. She enjoys adventuring to the Viridian Labyrinth to gather new plants to grow, and avoids the Tangled Wood unless Miyako is with her. She doesn't trust the trickiness of the Tangled Wood, but if she has to go there she trusts Miyako to get them both safely home. Juniper is one of the few dragons that Miyako associates with, and Miyako is one of Juniper's few friends. Most dragons who aren't from Solis-Shiaria look at them confused, sometimes it appears as if Juniper is talking to her own shadow, and other times they just think it's odd that a tree dragon associates with a dragon who looks like a necromancer. But the dragons of Solis-Shiaria like to think of it as life and death working together hand in hand.
Over time, the two dragons became inseparable. As a symbol of their friendship, Juniper sold a few of her extra plants to dragons passing by, and when a roaming salesdragon came by she used the treasure she had saved to buy Miyako a little Gloomwillow Guide. She knew Miyako gets lonely often, so she got her a little friendly creature to keep her company when Juniper can't. This gesture helped Juniper realize she felt something more than friendship toward Miyako. Taking a leap of faith, Juniper invited Miyako to live in the treehouse instead of Miyako's shabby little hut. Miyako happily accepted, as she felt the same way towards Juniper. The two got Miyako settled in then spent many blissful nights cuddling and talking. Neither felt alone anymore, and it was wonderful.
