An icy wind blows and you look up to see a blur of pink. Finally the blur stops and a Guardian stands before you. He says, "I just had to get out of the cold and your clan looks so comfy. Could I please seek shelter (and maybe a home) with your clan?"

Bravo had no idea when his wife’s uncle popped up in the middle of a terrible winter snowstorm looking for solace.

Normally, dragons featuring monochrome colors weren't acceptable as clan inductees, even if the poor man was a guardian. It was just the rules after all.

Well...rules Bravo himself had set.

Bravo had a dilemma. He was a passionate man, but not a compassionate man.

Even if he harbored plans to expand his family, he was interested in heirs of his own bloodline, not of Daymilk's father's, or his father before him.

However, Bravo supposed he could provide an act of pity every once in a while.

So Danyn--a very uncharacteristic member of Colorblur--kept his original name, no alias required. He did not touch the tablet.

However, it wasn't because Bravo was overcome by yet another bought of good will...

It was because the tablet rarely worked on dragons of monochrome, and responded only faintly to those of dull colors.

A well guarded secret by the tablet's very wielder.
