Galaxia sat across from BloodMoon as they discussed the moon. They exchanged notes and theories, occasionally spending several minutes simply staring at the night sky together. Galaxia asked, "Did you know that some people fear the time when the moon turns red?" BloodMoon shook her head.
"Sine metu," she replied, furrowing her brow. Galaxia looked away from the hooded guardian and up at the crescent moon, as white as snow.
"They think that it's a harbinger of destruction."
"Ridiculous." And with that, BloodMoon went back to their notes. She disregarded anything about planets, stars, and, well... everything but the moon. They discussed everything from gravity to measurements. Calculations were scribbled on the sides of yellowed pages. The lunar eclipse, the time in which the moon is stained crimson... was just around the corner. Some were fearful, others excited. Most didn't acknowledge the lunar event.
Clouds moved to over the moon, casting a dark shadow over the lair. The two guardians lit a few candles, and anticipated the upcoming eclipse in the dim firelight.
