Karuunys
Nature Flight ambassador, always 100% charged

Karuunys has two main sides to her personality. The other dragons in the lair usually have a different opinion about her based on which one did they see first.
The first side is the image of the graceful little princess. She is rather small for a Guardian, and likes to adorn herself in plants and little jewels. It's not unusual for her to spend time taking care of the most colorful flowers she can find and making sure that the flora of the land near the lair doesn't burn because of the harsh elemental energy around. She's also very well-spoken when she's on duty, and a major reason why interactions with the Nature flight tend to go well.
The second side is a little beast. Since she tends to grow attached and care a lot about the dragons and the things around her, she has the bad habit of getting very heated when she has an argument with someone. If violence is not the solution for most ambassadors and representatives, Karuunys is more prone to use it as her main and most powerful tool, as she firmly believes that when someone doesn't agree, it's not unreasonable to "smack some sense into their heads" in the literal sense.
Her relationship with Dilnikka is both professional and romantic. Dilnikka helps mitigating her rougher side, but also supports her ideals the most and vice-versa: the two of them found a perfect balance in each other's company and wouldn't have it any other way.
Karuunys' charge is the Nature element and the dragons tied to it. She is ready to fight with all she has when it comes to granting Nature dragons in the lair what they deserve, and every time she fails to satisfy their needs, the pain is almost physical.

Karuunys was born in a friendly Nature clan. Tafeirinmen offered her guidance and a chance to see more of the world in a safe environment, ready to let her go whenever Karuunys would feel ready.
Since she arrived in the clan during the Quadrumviratum, Karuunys was in a difficult position: she had some innate privilege as a Guardian in the eyes of Duariah, but she was also watched with suspicion by many others in the lair. Becoming a new leader wasn't her intention at all, so Karuunys made sure to stress her position in the matter multiple times: she was there to observe and learn, nothing more and nothing less.
Her position started to change when she befriended Amaltea. Karuunys was influenced positively by her values and decided to do more than just observe: she fought for her ideas and for the other dragons' well-being when it wasn't respected, even at the cost of getting into fights with the elders.
Little by little, that lair made of so many dragons who were so different from each other started to feel a lot like home.
When things started to get a little better for the clan, it also got somewhat worse for the local Nature, Water, and Ice dragons, with the move to the Ashfall Waste. Some of the dragons were just not a good match for the intense Fire energy of their new home, and creating a suitable environment for their life was proving itself to be very difficult. With the realization that protecting Nature and the dragons tied to that element was the most important thing in her life, Karuunys finally found her Charge.
She got to know Dilnikka since she was a hatchling. Being much younger than she is, Karuunys initially just considered her the same as a little sister, and even when she became a fully grown adult, the two of them only shared a professional relationship, being both Nature representatives and ambassadors. Perhaps it was pure chemistry, or maybe it was just because they spent so much time with each other, but at some point Karuunys just couldn't picture a life without Dilnikka at her side.
