Biography

With a family history know only to herself, Cure is a dragon viewed as mysterious but trustworthy. She is quiet and reserved, and does what she thinks is best for the clan.

Born in the beauty of the Tangled Wood to devout parent dragons, she grew up in a land of plentiful food and safety. But her care givers devoutness to the Shadowbinder made her uneasy. While they were kind and quick to laugh and joke, they kept her sheltered from the world outside, unbeknownst to her that it was in hopes to raise her to be sent off to do the Shadowbinders bidding.
Luckily Cure was a young dragon of curiosity and wit. In the dead of night, hiding in the dark like shadow dragons are adept to do, she snuck away with plans to travel and and discover the land around her. With knowledge that her ancestors lived in places called the Sunbeam Ruins, the Shifting Expanse, the Windswept Plateau and the Southern Icefield, she set off with the high hopes of a hatchling barely left the nest.
After much travelling she finally came upon the land of the Sunbeam ruins, Cure was ecstatic. The dragons were smart and logical, and welcoming. They taught her many things of their history and their diety, the Lightweaver. Cure enjoyed her time with the dragons of light, but felt she had learned all should could from the Pearlcatcher dragons.
She continued her journey across the world, learning more about the world but still little of her ancestors, she found herself living for a short spell in the Southern Icefields. Wary of outsiders, the ice dragons were hesitant to admit her to their land, but she proved her want to learn and she was allowed to live in the harsh land and continue her quest of knowledge.
She met a young Spiral dragon of the Ashfall Waste. She came to understand love and hatred over time. The Spiral sent off Cure's own children to the Icewarden without her knowledge, claiming he had to prove his worth to the great ice god.
Feeling lost, Cure went on to head north. She was filled with questions and unrest. Why should dragons have to sacrifice their children for a god they didn't know? Why should they have to be sacrificed at all? And why did there seem to be such a small amount of knowledge about Skydancers? Dazed, confused and becoming incredibly ill, Cure found herself in a surreal crystallized world. Eventually she collapsed in a bare forest or tall, lean trees.
Cure was looked after there-on by a small clan of fae dragons who found her on the forest floor. They took her back to their ancient lair in a hollowed tree. For months she learned the strange ways of the delicate, quick dragons. Though seemingly emotionless, they were friendly and hard working. Over time many dragons left, to travel other lands or were selected to work with the Arcanist, the lands god dragon. But many dragons came as well. Cure soon became the dragon that others would look to when they were in need of help or advice.
She hopes to one day live closer to the Observatory, where the Arcanist lives and studies, and come to finally understand the hold that the dietys have over the world. And possibly learn the secrets of the Skydancers.
