Dusk is a hardened, savage Imperial who can be having a simple conversation with you one moment, and then ripping your throat out in the next. His aggressive nature and mood swings make him difficult to approach. He always gets to the point of things, never being tolerable of conversation with formality or humor.

Dusk's brash personality does come with its bonuses, for Dusk is a professional at hunting game from being raised in the Scarred Wasteland, and likes to take his bundled savagery out on enemies in battle, though ~~most times~~ sometimes he goes overboard. Although, as much as he would hate to admit to anyone, he enjoys looking presentable ~~not that it's to impress anybody~~ and takes pride in the apparel he wears. Despite all of his threatening traits, Dusk does have his soft spots, and one of them is for his adorably small bunny, Celeste, who enjoys her time on his shoulder, in his purple bag, or in his mane.

The main reason Dusk came to this Water clan was to get revenge on a gigantic, famous Mirror thief that used to steal from his hoard during desperate times in the Plague territory. The Mirror dragon had a bounty that was worth a fortune, but he was a sly reptile who stealthily got away from rummaging through others' vaults and hoards. One dangerous night, this famous criminal stole Dusk's beloved weapon: a lance encrusted with jewels and blood. It was a precious weapon he thought he had kept safe. He caught the Mirror dragon at the scene of the crime, chasing him all the way to the center of Sorneith and into the Water territory. It was then that Dusk made it his mission to collect the bounty this head held, and he tracked him down into the Churnscar Wharf. Without attracting much attention, Dusk was able to retrieve both his sword and the literal dragon's head, his anger resulting in a murder. He needed the dragon alive. Luckily, it was a hefty bounty he collected back in the Plague territory, as the collector forgave his crime. However, the dragon who rewarded him was someone not even from Dusk's location, which had him curious. It was none other than Hollow, a Coatl who tipped his hat at Dusk and happily fed information to him about Kaimana, a clan where he can truly put his monstrous strength and tracking skills to use; for a good price. Dusk took the bait and followed her back to the Water territory, greeted with open arms by the clan...although only Hollow and Tempest know of the Imperial's deed.
