Alder comes from a line of warriors, generations of blood and war in his bones. He has fought in countless battles lasting weeks, months or even years and has seen a lifetime of events. Despite this, he only wishes to be able to sit under a tree in spring without dried blood under his claws or a dying clanmate sighing their last breath. With time, he has become able to do this, his memories of bloodshed simply another happening in his life.

"...There'll be bluebirds over the white cliffs of Dover.. tomorrow..."

Came his old voice, not too beyond the point that he can't mumble out a tune or two. He cracked one eye open, the corners of his mouth turning up as he spotted his familiar lazily paddling in the pond nearby. Waterworks catered to the flowers nearby, the soft breeze gliding through her mane as she, too, hummed a song unfamiliar to his ears. The chimes hanging on the tree echoed in the wind like a whisper, the grass waving as if in tune to the music happening everywhere.

"...just you wait and see.."
