Akako is the son of the clan leader, Niah after Arcanum managed to coax her into his bed (Niah naturally is angry at herself and him for this) But despite his parents... Well issues (his parents never stayed together as Acranum is well...Arcanum and Niah has moved on), he has turned out to be a brilliant tactician and a formidable Warrior. Despite his magical prowess he has chosen to most fight in hand to hand combat and with the sword, though he does use his magic if needed and for healing. He has also started to train those who want to learn how to fight, becoming the head of the guard. While he was training Arele, they started to slowly grow fond of each other, even though they were almost complete opposites at first, Him being practically a noble due to his mother but remaining humble and learning to defend himself and others, while she was more used to the lap of luxury. But eventually he started to court her and their love blossomed. They still have yet to tell anyone else, due to worries about how people may react with her own problems and worse her own political problems. Despite him turning away from most magic, Akako has a wonderful relationship with his mother, who is starting to teach him how to handle political issues and management as she knows how often things can change. He often now is left in charge if Niah is away on political visits or off trying to find a musty old tome or forgotten artifact. |
