Not much is known of Discord's past. He appeared one day in Wispwillow Grove at the doors of Starcatcher's clan. He looked dazed and beaten but his face said something entirley different from his eyes. It looked like he had seen a ghost. Many people assume he had gotten lost. He was mostly silent the first few weeks in Starcatcher. But as soon as he spoke, his lovely, brooding voice caught the attention of many. He became more relaxed as months passed, even flirting with many dragons in the clan.

At a festival once, a hatchling came up to him and begged him to work magic for his entertainment. He had always been opposed to using magic for entertainment but after pestering and begging from the hatchling and other dragons, he made a small poof on the hatchy's nose. The baby screeched and laughed in delight. That was the first time anyone had ever seen Discord smile like that.

He also seems to have an undying affinity to Parakeet. Some suspect it's her jittery nature that perfectly contrasts his stoic persona and others assume The wide consensus is just that opposites attract.

He made a habit of entertaining hatchlings with magic after that and gained the nickname of "Magic Man" among the clan. He took it in stride. The name took on more meaning when one day in the forest of the shadow domain, he was training a few magic-strong hatchlings and heard grumbling in the brush. Upon further inspection, he found it was a Pronghorn Stomper. And he froze. Before his entrance into the clan, the day he found them, he had been attacked by one. It had left him with many injuries and a defeated familiar. But he was stronger now. He placed the hatchlings high in a tree and continued to fight the Stomper. It was a long, hard fight, but with the use of his magic, it was easier to defeat. Until at one point, Discord was slammed into a tree by one of the Stomper's enormous hands. He could barely get up as he tried to walk. But that all turned when he saw the Stomper climbing up the tree where the hatchlings mewled and hid. He shot up and slammed the stomper to the ground. Just as he was preparing the final blow, other tundras of the clan approached, and even the clan leader, Titan, had never seen such a blinding, powerful flash of magic.

He is hailed as a hero in the clan but he claims it was only what he did best. But Titan is still curious how he forged that huge magic flash.....and just how dangerous he or his magic is...
