Heron is a very awkward dragon. He almost always stutters, tends to trip over his own feet, and is very bad at first impressions. Social events and daily conversations aren't really his thing - he can never find the right words to say and he always ends up tongue-tied and stuttering to raucous laughter. The other dragons don't seem to mind, but to him it's an embarrassment, and he lets others know it. Brutal honesty is Heron's priority. He doesn't believe in petty falsities or white lies to protect someone's feelings; total and complete honesty should always be the go-to. Lies create distrust, and trust is important to Heron. He may not feel at home surrounded by other dragons, but he definitely feels safe on his own out on the open ocean. Something about the salt-scented breeze and the little waves lapping at his ankles sets everything right - no more stuttering, no more anxious sweating. He's on his own with no one to judge him - no one except for the little fish he catches to be Sorted.
