Icey

Icey hatched while her parents were at home in the fire flight, but she was laid under the night sky of the observatory. So she should've hatched with the dancing pink in her eyes like her siblings. But she wasn't. She was born with the spark of fire in her eyes. At first no one noticed everyone assumed that a dragon hatched out of an arcane egg would have matching eyes. Only when she started showing signs of her very strong affinity with magic did her mother notice. The shocks that rippled through her birth clan left everyone wondering if she was a bad omen or curse. The rumors spread faster as her magic grew stronger with every day and even more so when she changed how she looked. Even her breed from tundra to pearlcatcher. Eventually she felt a pull towards the place where her mother laid her eggs and she traveled there. She found a clan of dragons living around the area. The clan was bigger then hers and extremely lively. Using her magic she watched the clan for a few weeks from the safety of a well hid hide-away.
She learned of the way the clan's members were ranked she learned of little scandles and if it wasn't for Klowbi she probably would've keep watching the clan for a little long before leaving for good. But the Fae knew she was there and sent a group of very strong guardians after her. If it wasn't for the magic she had (and was losing control of as she got older) she probably would've been killed by these three dragons. The fight she put up was enough though, it was enough to keep them from killing her at least until the leader showed up. The three didn't seem like they wanted to stop the fight, almost as if they were outside of this ranking in the clan and had their own business. They left her and the leader to speak. He told her he knew she was there from before she was even there thanks to Klowbi. He told her that he wanted her to join his clan and let Yustiel and Lumiel teach her how to control her magic before it gets so out of hand it kills her. Being aligned to two flights had the very strong possibility to tear her apart and was a possible out come of her future. Klowbi had seen it.
So she joined the clan and fought her place into the 4th rank. When she started her training with the two dragons Sparrow had mentioned she was given a gift. A sprite with an extremely strong calling to the Arcanist had been waiting for the right dragon to join with. The familiar was very good at calming the mess of magic inside of Icey and further taught her how to use certain spells and control her magic.
More and more she came out of her shell and blossomed. She was the strongest mage in the clan and was very happy and outgoing with her fellow clanmates. She now teaches all the aspiring mages in the clan how to use their magic as the high mage.
