.. Edgar is like a shadow, who everyone knows exists but no one can see. If you wish to find this old, mysterious coatl, look no farther than the bare forests of the Plague domain. Cracked and faded trees mark Edgar's home. While he never really has any time to conversate, he is full of old tales and stories. He is an important staple in the clan. Without anyone constantly patrolling the outskirts the clan would never be at ease. Edgar possesses the ability to travel so quickly he appears to be nothing but a dark, shadowy blur. The enemies he comes across are simply choked by the shadows in seconds. The unfortunate skulls and bones of Edgar's victims are placed around the borders, warning others to stay away. Edgar has become known as the old phantom of the forest. His constant isolation from the rest of dragonkind has rendered him virtually insane. In Pandel and her clan's eyes, he is as normal as any other clan member. To other dragons, he is a strange old man. Edgar never sleeps and dedicates his life to protecting his clan. Day after day of endlessly circling the perimiter of a clan of cannibals can really do things to a dragon.

Being centuries old, Edgar has seen many faces in his days. Pandel's is one of the most memorable ones. Pandel, the brutally sweet ridgeback overlord was found as a day old hatchling, curled up beneath a deteriorating log. Edgar scooped her up and brought her into his at the time, small lair, where she grew and lived. Eventually she became a young lady. Bold stripes ran across her scales, and polished spines protruded from her back. She was old enough to live on her own, and leave the small cave in which she lived. But, she did not want to leave. Edgar raised her well. She wished to live alongside him. The two settled down into the quaint and peaceful home. The lair was surrounded by miles of black-barked trees, which manage to survive through all festering diseases. A small stream runs through the trees and into the cave. The flowing stream eventually sprouts into a rumbling river full of active fish and lush plant life. It was great. Why would she ever want to leave?

It was decided, and Pandel wished to start a clan here. It was all she needed. Living space, fresh water, food and plant life. Edgar agreed to guard her and her future clanmates with his life. Even now, decades later, he still flaps readily around the forest. In his free time, Edgar enjoys the occasional meeting with the lovely ridgeback. They rarely talk anymore with the old coatl constantly doing his duty of driving out intruders and watching over the forest and Pandel having a whole clan to manage. But he enjoys every minute of their conversations. .
