Adventure knows nothing but the clan of Glacies Ventus.

He was born here; he thrives here like the Tidelord in the sea.

When he was hatched, he could have asked for no better. A loving father, Gilchrist- a caring mother, Amare, and a wonderful brother named Amaranth. The clan was warm and healthy- or, as well as they could be, stuck in the Southern Icefields. He had nothing that he wanted, nothing he wanted more than to keep the family that he loved.

Around the twins' second birthday, Amaranth was growing with interest for a certain dragon- Bane the Pearlcatcher. He could often be found helping the elder dragon with his gardening skills, pulling weeds and tending to the frost- resistant flowers outside the sleeping caves.

Now you see, the Icewarden doesn't take kindly to Nature invading his territory.

The Icewarden sent his league of exaltees, known commonly as the Wendigoes, to put an end to the infraction.
The Wendigoes tore the clan apart, killing and slaughtering all who they deemed unworthy. In a horrible display, Amaranth was turned to stone and Bane was cursed with a rock that would eat his bones away. Gilchrist had attempted to take one with him, but sadly only managed by taking one to his own grave. Adventure lost two people he loved that night- his father and brother... as well as dragons he could only remember few of... Purpura, Viriditas, Exodus... too many had been taken from the Wendigoes' curse.

Shortly after the attacks, he began having hallucinations and nightmares that linked strangely close to Smarties' rambling omens and visions. The clan of Glacies Ventus picked up their belongings, and left the home he had been born in. They left the icy hills and dead trees for a much more lively place- the Windswept Plateau.

Life in the Wind Flight was much different than the Southern Icefields- dragons didn't bicker over food, nor did they attack dragons out of thin air. He could enjoy flights with his mother in the open, breezy sky, where he felt free again.

Shortly after their arrival at the Zephyr Steppes, Adventure ran across an orphaned Imperial who would only utter that his name was Ostium.
Under the cover of his own coat, Adventure smuggled the adolescent in- he fed him from his own rations, and kept the Imperial safe and warm. He was quickly discovered, but wasn't scolded- the newcomer was welcomed in safely and without care.

Many years passed of his friends having eggs of their own, when he realized he didn't quite have the knack for the ladies- in an embarrassing turn of events, he began to fall for his own male friend- Ostium. Both of them being around the age of adulthood, Adventure confessed to his mother that he didn't find the same thing in female dragons that he did dragons of the same gender- she took it calmly, and even teased him to the point where he talked to Ostium.

In the lair today, Adventure and Ostium have one egg- their adopted daughter, Kireina. She took after her fathers, falling for a dragon of the same age- Juniper. His father and Amaranths' souls has yet to be found, but Adventure keeps the memory of his brother and dad alive by writing down the stories that Bane will tell him early in the morning- the morning where he can tend to his plants, and not become stone any longer.
