driven to collect magical artifacts. he wants the seeing orbs, the timecapsules, the prizes hidden behind puzzles left by the dead. luckily for him, the hewn city takes all kinds, and their history - with the right tactics - is ripe for the picking.

if only he were brave enough to face adventure.

he's scared of pain. his worst nightmares involve fatal injury. sometimes he talks to his sister Claya about it; more often than not, he lets the fear rot.

he covers himself in rich cloth and gold to pass the time he spends at home. going out is not in his repertoire... but he wishes he was experienced enough to earn knowledge worth coveting. he is, at his basest, an oldest child longing to be idolized.

apprencticed to Mattea despite being older than her. this doesn't cause him undue tension - he loves watching her work Ice magic into her Guardgoyles and is trying his hardest to emulate her animation abilities. sometimes, Aers thinks that he sees facial features in the lines made by wax dripping from his candles...
