 Koan was born in Wind clan, and was surrounded by all sorts of pilots and flyers since she was little. However, her parents were taken away by the sudden attack of Beastclans, and Koan doesn't really remember them. She grew up angry, brave and was the best at soaring at skies, mounting storms no one ever dared to ride. Koan quickly became a Commander and had her own loyal crew... Until she sacrificed almost all of them in order to accomplish one harsh mission. After that, she was exiled from her clan. She was taken into the Temple of Soul becase her battle and mental abilities were just beyond perfect. She hardly cares about anyone but her own missions, and has less friends than claws. But that's not making her less charismatic or less attractive. She loves black humour and often threatens others in order to get what she needs. The only one she truly trusts is Garrus, the one who went throuh all kinds of hardships with her, and who probably would be the one burying her if she dies. Koan is passionate and harsh, gets angry easily and never hesitates to kill. She may be called a bit insane, but never considered dangerous by the Temple of Soul - as ignorant as she could be, she will never harm her clan. Savior, who is often reluctant to speak, believes she's the only one able to save and protect the clan after Wingless.
