BIOGRAPHY

Star of the Sea

When she was born, Maristela failed to produce a pearl like her siblings and was left alone to die. She wandered the lands, looking for someone to take her in, but no one wanted a useless Pearlcatcher. Distraught, Maristela resigned herself to her fate.

While waiting to be exhalted to serve the Tidelord, she came upon a beautiful pearl that seemed to have a swirling galaxy of stars and planets living inside of it. When she touched it, Maristela felt as if she could feel the world's heartbeat. She gained new life simply from touching that pearl.

Maristela felt that the Tidelord had finally given her a pearl. And it was no ordinary pearl. Carrying the pearl gave Maristela confidence and magic beyond her wildest dreams.

Berenice and Tamil spotted the potential of the young oracle and took her under their wings. They are training her to read the energy in her pearl and use it to provide answers to any queries that may come along.
