icev1.png To all strangers of Clan Tellatale, Nivalis is a spirit of folklore, a creature of myth only. Oh, yes, many have met her and lived to tell the story of their encounters, but these are dragons who have just escaped the clutches of terrible blizzards. Frostbitten and weary, their ramblings of a powerful soldier helping them escape a snowy grave are dismissed as delirious hallucinations.

Nivalis doesn't mind. In fact, she prefers to be thought of as nothing more than a piece of folklore in Sornieth, not wanting to be gushed over or idolized for simply doing what's right. Even the title of Winter Soldier given to her mythical persona is too much for her liking. Referring to her as such always leaves her a flustered mess of puffed up fur and feathers.

Why? Well, she's just shy. Terribly shy, in fact. That's why she doesn't ever appear in calm weather to anyone not from Tellatale, and why she hides her face behind a helmet all the time, even while she sleeps. Those who know her know better than to try and remove it, and those who don't are quickly taught better with some whip-quick ice magic.

When she's not out helping other dragons survive the elements of the Southern Icefield, she's found at home in Clan Tellatale, enjoying the company of her clan mates. She likes to read alongside other studious dragons, listen to the musically adept dragons craft gorgeous melodies, or tend to her little fluffle of bunnies.

She gets along nicely with Inightlin, who is similarly shy and endeared by Nivalis' bunny friends.
