Biography
The Jester
Jester magic is fairly common in the Shadowbinder’s domain.
However, to see it in a hatchling born of the Fire is...uncommon. Some dragons do exhibit qualities from other flights, some more startlingly so than others. But recorded instances of jester magic have only found researchers observing Shadow dragons. Certainly not Fire ones.
And yet, here she is, all brilliant orange belly and spikes, scales and wings of dark obsidian and shadow. You’d expect her eyes to glitter purple, not blaze a flaming, candlelight orange.
The fact that she possesses this ability makes her beyond special. She is unique in every right.
Jester magic is the art of using magic for pranking purposes or stage shows. It may be a lesser form of Shadow magic, perhaps, but given enough training and time, a dragon gifted with this ability could put on a show the likes of which Sorineth has never seen.
She still wields Fire magic though.
Some call her an arsonist.
They are too afraid to call her anything else.
