I am crazy. I think. Scar was so mad, and had every right to be, but at this point? Atch, foolish. I should not spend time worrying and fretting over every little thing.

She spends too much time smuggling. I refuse to be a part of that. Refuse. Satyr and Patience stood with me when I stood up to her. So I may have been rather mad, and may have pointed out a past flaw of hers. A flaw that got someone killed. It's not my fault that she's a manipulative [from this point the words are illegible, as they have been crossed out what seems like many times]

We have to get out and make our own way. She says we are welcome back to the clan at any time. She says she'll be watching out for us. I doubt it. I hope so. I doubt it.

Journal:Day 2
Stupid owl followed me to the little pool we call home. Wonder how it'll keep dry enough to fly. Kind of care, kind of don't. It keeps taking my fish.

I have forgotten the day. At this point I don't much care. I hurt. Patience says that I have only just woken up.

We were hunting in the Scorched Forest and got overrun by those damned fire Jackalopes. The scars from that attack have mostly healed, but both Patience and Satyr agree that they are here to stay. A testament to my bravery, they say.

I call it stupidity, but at least we all got out alive because of it.

Man is free at the moment he wishes to be.


Fortune will always favor the bold. And the cunning, as Scar said, but I prefer not to give her that credit. She puffs up more than any Tundra ever does in winter.
