Dezzy’s a bit of an oddball but she’s good at what she does. Nobody has a clue how she always seems to know where she’s going but she’s never been lost in her life, which means trusting her is the best way to go. She’s cantankerous and she’s horrible at teamwork but once you’ve earned her trust she’ll guide you to the end of the world and back again. Still, it’s her way or the highway. If any dragon dares to question her judgment she launches into a long-winded rant about her life history, her vision, and her list of lost idiots she was forced to save on her travels through the wasteland. She’s very good friends with Klick because their jobs are similar and they both have a strong connection to the desert. Deserter will wander back to the Dragonhome from time to time when she misses the sand too much. She always brings back a jar of sand for Klick to remind her of their old home. She wasn’t too thrilled about Sahara’s decision to move to Starfall Isles but she’s having a decent time learning how to navigate a brand new territory so she’s decided to put up with it for the time being.

This intelligent Wildclaw has absolutely no time for dragons who aren’t willing to learn sign language. She’ll write down sentences on scraps of paper when it's a matter of life or death but other than that, she never uses English. Sahara was pleased to discover that the entire Entourage was fluent in Dezzy's language. She requested lessons from Deserter herself and soon the two of them were bantering back and forth with practiced ease. Dezzy’s grateful to be part of a group she can actually talk to. Now she’s working on teaching the Kuuwardens about non-verbal forms of communication. Some of them are a bit slow on the uptake but they’ll learn. Meanwhile she can have them teach her about the Arcanist’s realm. She’s a bit uncomfortable without scorching heat on her back and sand under her feet. She’ll be all right eventually. The Entourage will help her adjust. They are her family, after all.
