Erebus

While his older (by mere minutes) sister, Asteria follows in their mother's footsteps, Erebus follows his father's. He serves as second-in-command for the armed forces for the clan.
Erebus, while protective to those he cares deeply about, whom there are few, is dark and ferocious towards most others. Even those in his own clan fear him. For Erebus, fear and respect go hand in hand. Morbus, who understands the difference between the two, works day in and day out to teach him how to correctly lead the masses, for he fears the worst when the time comes that he takes over if he does so with his current mindset.

Though content with his current position, there is still a pang of jealously of his sister who will take over the entire workings of the clan. As he grows older, the pang grows with him...

He spends time in other element's domains, to experience the differences in cultures and to cultivate alliances. He has spent the most time in the Scarred Wasteland, against his father's will. Erebus wishes he had been born of rot, sickness, and vile. He doesnt understand why his father would have ever left, he sees the carnage as a draw to the land. He has spent so much time around the Wyrmwound that he's now starting to show it, and he couldnt be happier.

In Greek mythology, Erebus ("deep darkness, shadow"), was often conceived as a primordial deity, representing the personification of darkness.
