Jouaku

Jou isn't the most talkative of dragons. They prefer minding their own business and spending the day lounging or sleeping. All of the complex politics are tiring to deal with, especially from the perspective of someone such as Jou. The ridgeback far prefers the vast open expanse of the sky to being trapped inside all the time.

It's easy to see from looking at the dragon that they've seen quite a lot. Countless upon countless scars and marrings - from teeth, claws, and magic alike cover their hide. It's any wonder the ridgeback manages to still stand at all. They've been almost completely blinded from a rather nasty blow to the face, though the loss of most of their sight doesn't seem to slow them all that much.

Jou's true passion lies with training new dragons. They often see to most fighters in the clan, old and new. Sparring, teaching and supporting as much as they can. Despite all the scars and wounds, Jou's combat prowess is still obvious on the field.

The ridgeback also enjoys travel - a frequent hobby when the politics of Blackmoon become too annoying. Despite the confusing and often terrifying nature of the Tangled Wood, Jouaku's own latent magic makes traversing it easy, which assists when helping newer dragons navigate.
