Swirling and swimming around in shallow waters, Filtered Sunlight dragons spend the majority of their time submerged just beneath the warm, tropical waters of the Fishspine Reef. There, their natural coloration helps them to blend in to their surroundings, where they will often float motionlessly just below the surface, waiting for unsuspecting prey to come near, right into waiting jaws. While quite at home in shallower waters, these dragons detest the cold, dark, and deep, such as th area surrounding the Leviathan Trench. Persuading a Filtered Sunlight dragon to venture into such unknowns is a near impossible feat.

These dragons make great fishers and underwater gatherers due to their strong swimming ability. They are also good at watching over and caring for hatchlings as well- especially if it means swimming lessons- due to their immense amount of patience.
