“My family puts nothing above the Lightweaver, she is everything to them and when I was born blind they were afraid that I had been cursed, they feared I would become a monster, I thought they were right, how was I supposed to follow the path of the light if I could not see it? They voted to banish me, it was unanimous, even my own parents and so I left.

I travelled for some time, it wasn’t easy, surviving on my own as barely more than a hatchling, many dragons were kind and helped me but I did not stay with them for I hoped that I could soon return home and eventually, I did but now I wish I had not, every member of my clan was blind now and they blamed me, saying my birth had cursed them all, that the Lightweaver had turned her back on them and taken her light away.

I could not think of any other reason they would have so suddenly lost their sight, I was the only logical explanation and so I ran, I could not accept the damage I had caused so I ran to a place with no light because there I would not see the proof of my sins.”

“It was a month after Tasa had invited me into the the clan that I went to Flux, I asked them if they could remove my curse, they were bewildered and claimed that I wasn’t cursed, I didn’t believe and demanded they try to fix me, Flux tried many times and many ways to give me my sight but everything failed and they suggested I visit Volta, the clans doctor. Volta did everything in her power, hours of tests, genetic research but nothing came of it, I think it broke her heart, telling me that she couldn’t fix my sight but I was thankful, she’d helped me even she’d lost hope.”
