______ Born from blood and sweat, Dark Knight's skill in battle has been refined over several years of brutal combat. Banished from the Light's domain due to his insidious colouration, Dark Knight sought out a word of chaos— believing that's all he was worth. He was in and out of other clans, fighting their wars for them, his passion for battle burning like a wildfire— volatile and untamed. He was never reckless, however. Each move was planned, he always carried a strategy. Until he finally met a worthy opponent. He was wounded— badly. His right wing and right back leg were rendered practically useless. They was now just...liabilities. Dark Knight was forced to retire from his life of battle. His world has fallen apart, his fire put out. So he left his life behind. He traveled, running into someone who once had been equally as battle hungry.

______ Lyrroth watched the dark dragons mirage ripple in the distance. He appeared suddenly, no longer a figment of a plagued mind. His armour was dull, but his eyes were bright. There was a forgotten determination behind the gold windows. "Are you lost?" Lyrroth had asked.
"I cannot be lost if I never had a destination." He had responded.
"A shame," Lyrroth cocked his head. "You are a warrior, are you not?"
Dark Knight scoffed. "It is a role I can no longer play. I have been maimed."
"Is a battle not fought also off the battlefield?" Lyrroth countered. "Is 'warrior' not a word to describe someone's tenacity?"
Gold eyes narrowed. "What are you getting at?"
Lyrroth laughed, a noise that startled his feathered guest. "You are not 'playing' warrior because there is simply no war to be fought in this moment."
