Galtan has a way with familiars. Even the most dangerous of them seem to gravitate towards him, and he seems to earn their trust quickly. Galtan and his familiars perform one of the star acts in Albion's circus, one of The Conflagrant Caravan's main events. He's careful to make sure that all of the familiars are safe and comfortable for their acts. Galtan has learned to adapt on the fly- sometimes a familiar won't be feeling it, and he'll need to replan the entire routine as it's happening. Hatchlings in particular are delighted by the familiar show. All sorts of rare creatures- well-taken care of and doted on- perform elaborate tricks.

His expertise with training familiars is a far cry from how he fares with other dragons. Galtan is known for being a bit rude and stubborn, so he tends to hang out with his familiars more than he hangs out with other dragons. Those who really know him know that he's determined to do his best and improve himself. He's still blunt and a little needlessly harsh, but he's started to hang out with the rest of the staff to play cards.
