Biography

She is mage

She lived her early life in the Starwood Strand, and was trained in the art of magic. She proved to be a relatively talented mage, and was on track to teach magic herself. But when the time came for her to take her first apprentice, she found herself unable to accept the responsibility. In the dead of night, she packed her things and left.

She traveled across the Windswept Plateu to the Ashfall Waste, seeking a sense of belonging with her Fire Coatl kin. Stifled by the smoke and confused by the physicality of their industry, she found no such thing.

She walked along the coast of the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and thought many times of a venture to the Spiral Keep. She dreamed that the Tidelord would tell her where she was meant to go, what she was meant to do. But she knew her magic wasn't strong enough to take her to such depths.

By the time she reached the Tangled Wood, she felt shame and defeat, but mostly she felt tired. She wallowed through the shadows, conversing incidentally with other wayward dragons, strange trees, and on one occasion a particularly insightful Glow Mushroom. But mostly she slept.

She reached the Viridian Labyrinth blinking surreal visions from her eyes. When she first saw Rosemary flitting about a blossoming area of the Everbloom gardens, she was half sure this eccentric fae must also be a dream.

"Oh hello! You look hungry. Would you like some Grub? I have extra."

She approached Iris with outstretched claws, several still-writhing mealworms impaled on each one.

"Ummm...."

Iris searched for a way to decline without seeming rude.

"Oh!" The fae seemed to notice her discomfort. "You eat....something else. What is it you eat? Why don't you come back to our clan, we'll find you something."
