When the scrying stones were cast, no one was more surprised than Marikit to discover that she was chosen as one of the Three. As the avatar of dawn, it is her job to mediate arguments and cast tie-breaking votes. Though she is the youngest to be appointed to the court in recent memory, Marikit is arguably one of the wisest. Marikit feels a particular kinship to Nenet, as both feel out of place in the Court of Light despite being born into it.
