Noroi is nowhere near as ominous as he appears to be. In fact, he is a rather calm dragon, with an incredibly kind heart and a fairly archaic vocabulary. He has a rather unique talent, one for which he takes pride in - he is able to lift the vast majority of curses, regardless of where they originated from.

This well mannered imperial knew he had a talent from a young age. He arrived in the Forgotten Lair after being rejected by several other clans, his presence portraying an aura of foreboding wherever he settled. This aura was merely warning the other clans that one of their inhabitants was likely cursed in some way. This strange sensation wasn't a problem for Gremlin or Misty, who already knew that a couple of their fellow clan members were already cursed.

It was after being accepted into the clan that his talent became noticeable. When Budsy decided to go for a digging expedition for a change, he came back cursed thanks to a Canopic Jar (the bane of the Forgotten Clan). Noroi effortlessly lifted the curse, and Budsy was back to normal within a matter of seconds. Since then, the digging team have felt more at ease about picking up those darn things.

The one exception to his skill? He has been unable to cure Scrooge. It is believed that Scrooge's curse is one which required a near-immediate removal. Unfortunately, Noroi arrived in the clan several months later, and thus the curse had set in completely. He is able to sometimes lower the frigidity of the curse though, particularly on days when the moon is full. He is sure that one day, he will learn how to overcome that curse too.
